The 6 best remedies for constipation

It is considered that a person suffers from constipation when he has problems to evacuate, either by scarce and hard stools, or for an extended time that exceeds 72 hours.
While each person has a different frequency to go to the bathroom according to age, weight and type of diet, it is said that he suffers from constipation when it changes drastically and happens to be every three or more days.

Although many may think that this health problem is mild, the truth is that it must be treated in a timely manner to prevent it from becoming a chronic problem, or to detect any disease that may be causing it.

Fortunately, there are some natural remedies that have slight laxative properties to improve digestion and cope with constipation.

1. Juice of aloe Vera

Aloe Vera or aloe Vera is one of those medicinal plants with multiple health benefits both internally and externally. Taking your juice daily helps to naturally clean the colon and facilitate the removal of debris

According to Natural Standard data, an aloe compound called aloin is responsible for fighting constipation.

2. Apple

One of the best foods to deal with constipation is the apple. This fruit contains pectin, a substance that promotes intestinal function.
In addition, it provides a significant amount of fiber, needed to soften the stool and encourage their expulsion, according to data from an investigation of the Faculty of Medicine of Ohio State University (United States).

3. Banana

This delicious food is ideal for supporting good digestion and improving bowel movement. It provides a good amount of fiber, which acts as a powerful natural laxative to facilitate the expulsion of feces.

A piece of banana provides on average 12% of the recommended daily fiber amount and also contains fructose oligonucleotides, substances that, upon reaching the large intestine, contribute to a good digestion.

4. Green tea

Green tea has become popular in recent years as a powerful antioxidant drink with many health benefits. One of these main benefits is its ability to promote good digestion and encourage the expulsion of wastes that accumulate in the colon

This tea has a slight laxative effect that contributes to combat constipation.

5. Oats

Those who suffer from constipation should include more oats in their diet .
This food contains carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and fiber, which contribute to better digestion and avoid constipation. The ideal is to consume it at breakfast, but can also be added to shakes, soups and salads

6. Flax seed

Flax seeds are characterized by their high medicinal power, which is attributed largely to their high fiber content and omega 3 fatty acids. This food has slight laxative properties that can help improve intestinal movement to evacuate waste and clean the colon.
Simply soak one tablespoon of flax seeds in a glass of water, let it stand overnight and drink the next morning on an empty stomach.
